Please join a panel of Department of Defense, Department of Energy and Department of the Interior geothermal professionals to discuss geothermal development on DoD installations.  With the global eye on geothermal energy plus ambitious clean energy goals established by the Biden administration, the Department of Defense (DoD) has a renewed and focused interest in finding and developing geothermal. DoD is one of the largest energy consumers in the country and manages over 28 million acres of land worldwide. The potential opportunities for geothermal development on these lands, from power production to thermal storage, is large.

This panel will discuss priorities and paths to developing geothermal on DoD land.  We looking for feedback regarding some current projects and any thoughts on how we might entice geothermal developers to pursue projects on DoD land.
